Position Details:
- Schedules Available:
- - 2nd Shift: 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM
- - Part-time, 2 scheduled days per week with ability to pick up shifts as needed.
Pay:
$16.00 – $18.50 per hour, Credit for experience, training, and certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare great meals: for up to 100 residents following established menus and guidelines.
- Ensure food quality: Present meals that exceed the expectations of residents and meet all food safety regulations.
- Food prep and kitchen maintenance: Assist with food preparation, clean-up, dishwashing, sanitizing kitchen equipment, cleaning kitchen, and storing supplies.
- Work as a team: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient operation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in large-batch cooking preferred (healthcare, catering, banquet service, schools, or restaurant environment).
- Strong work history, reliability, and a heart for service.
- Passionate about working in a Christian, faith-based environment, and dedicated to serving older adults with compassion and excellence.
