Essential/Primary Duties
- Prepares, seasons, and cooks food
- Ensures prep stations are stocked
- Prepares simple components of each dish on prep list provided by the Chef
- Carves portions of meat, fish, or fowl for individual servings
- Ensures food and prep areas meet health and safety standards
- Assists in preparing, cooking, and storing food, as well as maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition
Secondary Duties
- Unloads all incoming stock, prepares boxes for storage, and utilizes proper rotation of all products
- Handles issues and problems and refers to higher level staff when needed
- Provides minimal leadership and coaching to subordinate staff
- Fills in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Helps maintain, clean, and stock of coffee and vending areas throughout the entire campus
- Oversees ordering, monitoring, and rotating stock for the coffee and vending areas throughout the campus
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma with a ServSafe Certification, Level 2 ODH Certification
- 2-4 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

- High aptitude for multi-tasking
- Basic Computer Skills
