Cook - Evening & Late Night Shift

About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast paced environment. Crank up the music and have some fun while you are working hard to prepare the highest quality chicken finger meals for our customers to enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food served meets high standards
• Prepare chicken finger meals quickly and efficiently
• Work in a fast-paced, upbeat environment
• Assist in taking orders and processing payments
• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning tables, floors, and other areas of the Restaurant
• Follow safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Multitask and work under pressure

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to work all shifts: opening shifts, closing shifts, and everything in between
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, or stoop
• Must be able to ascend or descend stairs
• Must be able to reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to show up to scheduled shifts on time

Qualifications

• Entry-level position (no previous experience required)
• Experience in a similar role (customer service associate, retail team member, cashier, restaurant server, kitchen lead, cook, prep cook, drive-thru cashier, etc.) is preferred but not required
• Willingness to take initiative and align with Raising Cane’s culture
• Team player, excellent communicator, happy, courteous, enthusiastic, hardworking, attentive, responsible, dependable, authentic, and genuine

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, upbeat environment
• Ability to assist in taking orders and processing payments

Pay

Starting hiring pay at: $15.00
