About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast-paced environment. You’ll prepare the highest quality chicken finger meals for our customers while enjoying a lively atmosphere with music.

Starting in the back of the house can lead to promotional opportunities such as Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer. We are hiring entry-level and experienced Cooks for all shifts: opening, closing, and everything in between. No prior restaurant experience is required—we provide paid training for every new Cook.

Within your first year, you can earn up to an extra $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality chicken finger meals in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure all food meets Raising Cane’s standards
• Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the Restaurant
• Take orders from customers and process payments efficiently
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Multitask and work under pressure
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Work as a team to complete tasks and ensure continuity of service

Physical requirements

• Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Kneel, bend, twist, or stoop
• Ascend or descend stairs
• Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Provide quick and friendly service to all customers

Pay
