Job Duties
- Prepare three balanced meals per day for residents and staff.
- Communicate inventory needs and maintenance problems to designated staff.
- Keep food preparation, serving, and storage areas neat and clean.
- Prepare complete, accurate, and timely reports.
- Order food and supplies as necessary within budget and approval.
- Assist with inventory of food and supplies when needed.
- Provide emergency backup for weekday cook, as needed.
- Treat all individuals with respect, dignity, and courtesy.
- Conduct oneself to leave a favorable impression on the public.
- Cooperate with Supervisor/Manager/Coordinator and other staff members.
- Adhere to Department of Mental Health Standards and Life Help policies.
- Respect confidentiality of individuals and colleagues.
- Participate in required training and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year's related experience
- Valid Driver's License
