Cook - Closing Shift

About the Role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s you will set the pace of the restaurant by ensuring all food meets high standards. The kitchen is a fun, fast‑paced environment where you’ll prepare high‑quality chicken finger meals while music plays. Entry‑level candidates receive paid training, and there are promotional pathways to roles such as Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb; kneel, bend, twist, stoop, ascend/descend stairs, and reach above head or below waist.
• Clean tables, floors, and other restaurant areas.
• Take orders from customers and process payments efficiently.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food.
• Multitask in a high‑pressure, fast‑pace environment.
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time and work collaboratively with teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Team player, excellent communicator, happy, courteous, enthusiastic, hard‑working, attentive, responsible, dependable, authentic, and takes pride in a good job.
• Ability to work opening, closing, and all shifts in between.
• Willingness to align with Raising Cane’s culture of “Working Hard and Having Fun.”
• Take initiative, comply with company policies, and work under pressure.

Pay

• Starting hourly wage: $13.00.
• Potential increase of up to $1.50 per hour within the first year through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.
• Additional $1.00 per hour for shifts after 10 p.m. (subject to hours‑requirement).

Schedule

Immediate hiring for all shift types, including opening, closing, and intermediate shifts. Flexible scheduling is offered.
