About the role
We are seeking a talented and creative chef to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and innovation are valued.
Responsibilities
- Compose and prepare scratch made dishes under the guidance of experienced culinary professionals.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items, both traditional and innovative.
- Ensure dishes are presented beautifully and meet high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with other culinary staff to maintain a diverse and exciting menu.
- Assist in catering events and other special projects as needed.
- Enjoy a competitive salary starting at $25.00/hour, with opportunities for raises and bonuses.
- Work flexible daytime hours (typically 7am - 3pm) with occasional evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional cooking experience, or a Culinary Arts degree.
- Experience in fine dining or large-volume kitchens is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI, or live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI.
