About the Role
We are seeking a Cook/Chef to join our team at Crestwood Fallbrook Healing Center, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) in Northern San Diego County. This role involves stocking, preparing, and serving food to clients and staff while maintaining a caring and professional demeanor. Our model of care focuses on empowering individuals through a personal and self-directed recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Stock, prepare, and serve food to the appropriate number of clients and staff.
- Interact with clients and facility staff in a caring and professional manner at all times.
- Understand and properly serve foods designated for common facility therapeutic and texture-modified diets.
- Maintain proper health code sanitary techniques in all food service areas, including safe temperatures.
- Supervise food service staff (desired).
Qualifications
- High school diploma desired.
- Previous experience as an institutional Cook/Chef desired; other institutional food service experience helpful.
- Knowledge of proper health code sanitary techniques and safe food temperatures.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $23.39 USD - $24.58 USD per hour. Final salary offered will be based on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
Schedule
Full-Time: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
