Responsibilities
- Aids in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and ensure quality products.
- Stores items properly according to dates and labels.
- Uses proper food handling techniques.
- Reviews menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals.
- Serves diets properly, accurately, and attractively as planned using proper portions and special diet items.
- Fulfills standardized recipes and special diet orders, preparing sufficient quantities to meet all service requirements.
- Tests and tastes foods of all consistencies for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature, adjusting as necessary.
- Supervises when needed.
Requirements
- Healthcare food service experience preferred, not required.
- Banquet/Catering experience is preferred, not required.
- Supervisor experience is preferred, not required.
Qualifications
- Full-time position available.
- Part-time positions also considered.
- Pay range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour.
- No late night shifts.
