Juniper Communities is seeking a seasoned professional comfortable with short‑order scratch cooking, skilled in dicing, slicing, and chopping vegetables efficiently, able to read and follow recipes, and committed to cleaning as they work while maintaining the highest sanitation standards. The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and wants to serve senior‑living communities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Assist in the coordination of effective communication among the dining team and resident assistants.
• Work closely with the Connections Director and the Director of Sales and Marketing in planning and implementing special events.
• Maintain necessary records and complete administrative paperwork as required.
• Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma and experience in culinary arts or food service.
• Ability to handle 50‑60 covers per hour.
• Ability to follow written recipes, written and verbal directions, and execute tickets.
• Knowledge of volume food preparation and operation of food‑service equipment.

Pay

Starting at $20 per hour, with increased wage offered based on experience. DailyPay available for on‑demand payment.

Schedule

Full‑time shift available; requires working every other weekend and rotating holidays.
