About the role

Assists Executive Chef/Dining Services Director in the preparation of meals and provides excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Assist in the coordination of effective communication among dining team and resident assistants.
• Work closely with the Connections Director and the Director of Sales and Marketing in the planning and implementation of special events.
• Maintain necessary records and complete administrative paperwork as required.
• Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma and experience in culinary arts or food service.
• Must be able to handle 50-60 covers per hour.
• Must be able to follow written recipes.
• Must be able follow written and verbal directions.
• Must be able to understand and execute tickets.
• Knowledge of volume food preparation.
• Knowledge and ability to operate food service equipment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with short-order scratch cooking.
• Skilled in dicing, slicing, and chopping vegetables efficiently.
• Able to read and follow recipes.
• Committed to cleaning as they work while maintaining the highest sanitation standards.
• Passion for going above and beyond to deliver customer satisfaction.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay starting at $20 per hour, increased wage offered based on experience.
• Full time shift available (every other weekend and rotating holidays required).
