Lorraine Lakes, located in Lakewood Ranch, FL, is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to a positive experience for our members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will be part of a global leader in golf and community management.

About the role

Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, ensuring guest consumption and enjoyment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plans or forecast needs.
• Utilizes whole food products to eliminate waste.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Alerts chef or supervisor of equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages promptly.
• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as necessary for daily production.
• Ensures proper storage of food items, including wrapping, dating, and rotating stock.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training certification.
• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with customers or co-workers and understand equipment manuals.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes, and smells.
• Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

• Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather.
• Noise level is moderate.
