Responsibilities
- Works in Food Service & Restaurant Operations doing prep, cooking, product rotation, and packaging
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market support staff, and the vendor community
- Cultivates and maintains an integral and collaborative environment
- Ensures adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout the kitchen
- Assists in training and development of employees
- Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including guests, staff, and leadership
- Provides and role models excellent customer service
- Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
- Maintains kitchen in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
- Ensures food service compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Demonstrates an attitude of service to staff and guests
- Keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
- Supports and follows all company and department policies
- Supports and follows all safety, security, and sustainability programs
- Operates within the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand, and Business Principles
Requirements
- Deep knowledge and interest in food and cooking techniques
- Working knowledge of all food service areas, inventory management, product rotation, ordering, and forecasting
- Must be a positive team player, leader, and role model who can effectively manage through change
- Ability to train others in food production, food handling, and product management
- Performance-oriented with effective organization and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be conscientious and capable of consistently following directions, procedures, and recipes
- Understands and upholds Ready for Business standards
- Must possess an attitude of service to others
- Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, guests, and vendors
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- 18 years or older

Pay
Entry Level Compensation: USD $27.85/Hr.
Maximum Compensation: USD $29.15/Hr.
Schedule
5 AM shift start is common. Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
