Responsibilities
- Ensures all food is prepared in a manner to ensure the utmost in quality with the minimum of waste.
- Prepares food items in accordance with menu recipes and diet orders as well as special needs and requests.
- Athetically displays all food utilizing steam table planned layout and proper pans.
- Serves menu items observing proper portion-control sizes per diet order, special needs and special requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a high volume, food production setting preferred, preferably in a hospital or institution setting.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
