Job Type: Full Time / Part - Time The Company: We are a 5 star rated, 129-bed facility offering long term care and short term stayWe are dedicated to providing exemplary customer service and top-quality care to our residentsWe are committed to team-oriented outcomes and person-centered careWe value our employees by offering opportunities for career advancement The most successful candidate for this position: Has prior line-cook experiencePreviously worked in a healthcare setting (preferred, but we will train the right people!)Employs great customer service skills and is always willing to go the extra milePossesses good time management and the ability to multi-task The responsibilities & duties: Review menus prior to preparation of foodPrepare meals following planned menus and make only authorized food substitutesPrepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearancePrepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menuServe food in accordance with established portion control proceduresInspect special diet trays to assure that correct diet is served to residentsAssist in establishing service production lines to assure that meals are prepared on timeAssumes responsibility for tray line and serves on tray line as necessaryInterpret department policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors, family members, etc., as needed and appropriateCoordinate dietary service with other departments as necessary The benefits for qualified employees: Health & Dental Insurance Paid time off (PTO)
