General Duties

• Prepares and cooks food as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Serves and portions meals in an appealing manner
• Fulfills production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety
• Prior experience in food service and preparation
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
