About the Role
Join our team as a cook, where you will prepare and serve meals, oversee food service operations, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available. Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
- Follow the menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions on the proper form.
- Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
- Comply with state sanitation codes.
- Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify received items, and restock appropriately.
- Ensure resident food preferences are known and followed.
Requirements
- Obtain a Food Handlers card.
- Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
