Responsibilities

• Prepare food for the residents of our Community Care Retirement Community.
• Supervise the day-to-day duties of cold prep cooks and dietary aides.
• Ensure food preparation and supervision comply with all current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.
• Achieve quality food service by following direction from the Dietitian and/or the Director of Food Services.

Requirements

• Food preparation and cooking skills.
• Experience in food service and handling.
• Previous work in a restaurant or kitchen setting.
• Culinary background with knowledge of meal preparation.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with the food industry.
• Ability to work in a memory care environment.
