Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist.
• Integrate ethics in all areas of practice.
• Adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policies.
• Support the facilities' mission and values.
• Prepare food per recipe specifications for daily use on the patient line, retail areas, doctor's lounge, or for catered events.
• Read production sheets and forecast production needs.

Requirements

• High School Degree / Equivalent
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care, complex gynecological procedures, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists on site at all times.
