About the role

Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior quality in all food preparation and service.
• Clean and maintain equipment to meet department standards.
• Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control.
• Identify and address problems, and implement solutions.
• Supervise dietary staff and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper sanitation, safety, and infection control policies are followed.

Requirements

• One (1) year cooking experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Completion of state or local food safety training course preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
