North Ridge Health and Rehab in New Hope, MN is seeking a full-time Cook to join a dynamic, caring team. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure the quality and proper temperature of food items.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions in the kitchen.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Take pride in making a positive difference in the lives of residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking ability.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility preferred but not required.
• Trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, and a team player.
• Enjoy serving and caring for seniors; able to establish good rapport and communicate effectively.

Schedule

This full‑time cook position works days, evenings, and weekends.
