Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will be responsible for crafting delicious meals for our residents, contributing to their daily enjoyment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain stations while practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Requirements

• One year of commercial kitchen/cooking experience
• Someone with reliable transportation
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to use kitchen equipment safely
• Able to stand for long periods of time
