About the role

Eskridge Care Center in Eskridge, KS is seeking a full-time Cook to join their team. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure the quality and temperature of food items.
• Take care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand measurements.
• Cook experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.
