Overview

Mirabella Portland, Portland’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking an experienced Cooks to join our team of culinary professionals to create awesome food for our fine-dining restaurant, upscale casual Bistro, catering services, and/or all other areas of our culinary program.

Responsibilities

• Create delicious meals for residents and guests
• Prepare a variety of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
• Ensure adherence to high standards of food safety and quality
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to maintain a positive dining experience
• Adapt recipes and menu offerings based on resident feedback and changing trends
• Support the culinary team in preparing for special events and catering services

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
• Valid Food Handlers card
• Experience with ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients

$20.00 - $28.00 / hr DOE
