Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Cooks to join our team. Positions include Full-Time (FT) and Part-Time (PT) roles, with hours ranging from 530am to 130pm, rotating 4 in and 2 out for FT positions, and 2 days per week for PT positions. Culinary Arts is a passion for our residents and patients, and we are looking for individuals who can meet their high expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu, using standardized recipes.
• Ensure food is prepared in proper quantity and in accordance with established time schedules.
• Utilize correct portion control utensils during food service to ensure proper quantity of food is prepared.
• Check and maintain proper food temperatures during food preparation and services, recording temperatures according to established policy.
• Ensure an adequate supply of food, supplies, etc. are available at all times; report inadequate stock levels to supervisor in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Food handler’s permit required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, understand, and write fluently in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
