Memorial Hospital is seeking a per diem Cook with variable hours to prepare foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees, while ensuring facility cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for patients, guests, residents, and employees.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Maintain and manage kitchen equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• One year of relevant food production experience required.
• One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.68 to $25.10 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
