About the role
The Cook is a vital member of the kitchen team who will work closely with all other positions in the back-of-house operations to cook, receive, prep, and organize food in order to maintain proper back-of-house operations for the continuity of the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with all other positions in the back-of-house operations to cook, receive, prep, and organize food.
- Maintain proper back-of-house operations to ensure the continuity of the guest experience.
- Operate grills, fryers, broilers, mixers, ovens, and other kitchen cooking equipment.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
