Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals according to recipes and menu standards
• Ensuring food looks great and tastes great every time it's served
• Following food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Serving meals to residents with special dietary needs and preparing meals according to nutritional guidelines
• Assisting with meal service and kitchen cleanup when needed
• Collaborating with team members to create a welcoming dining experience
• Connecting with residents and gathering feedback to help improve our food service
• Maintaining an organized, safe, and positive kitchen environment

Requirements

• A high school diploma
• A culinary degree preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience

Qualifications

• Passion for food and hospitality
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Dependability and commitment to providing excellent service
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous cooking experience preferred, but we value attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
