Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for an experienced, dependable, and service-focused Cook to join our culinary team at Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, NE. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, appetizing meals while following established recipes, dietary requirements, food‑safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized kitchen.
• Help create an enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of hotel or restaurant line‑cooking experience preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
• Pride in food preparation and attention to detail.
• Understanding of consistency and quality standards.

Schedule

Full‑time. Hours: Tuesday–Wednesday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM; Thursday–Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.
