Position Summary

Join the Dietary Team as a Cook who prepares food in accordance with health regulations and Gulfport Behavioral Health System policies and procedures to assure that quality food services are provided at all times to patients and staff. Provides assistance in all food service functions and ensuring high quality food service. Our patients enjoy the quality of the food prepared by our Dietary team and rate their food and service with "high" scores on our patient satisfaction survey. This is a full time position with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with health regulations and facility policies and procedures
• Assure quality food services are provided at all times to patients and staff
• Provide assistance in all food service functions
• Ensure high quality food service

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Licensure and Certification: Initial CPR and de-escalation certification obtained during hospital orientation; Safe Serve certification preferred
• Experience: Three years of related experience with experience in hospital setting preferred
