About the role

As a Cook at Far West Restaurant Group, you'll prepare fresh, high-quality food that delivers the Wingstop experience our guests expect. You'll work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen while following food safety standards and helping every order leave the kitchen accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to company recipes and standards
• Cook, sauce, and package orders accurately
• Ensure every order meets quality and presentation standards
• Read and prepare orders quickly and accurately
• Work with the Front of House team to deliver orders on time
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures including oil filtering
• Operate kitchen equipment safely
• Help minimize food waste while maintaining product quality
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks including cleaning and changing hood filters
• Support your team wherever needed
• Help create an exceptional guest experience with every order

Requirements

• Food Handler Certification
• Restaurant or cooking experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance

Training & Development

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, and kneel
• Safely work around hot equipment, fryers, and commercial kitchen equipment
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with varying temperatures
