Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control the Food Service Department
• Maintain high resident satisfaction by responding to likes and dislikes
• Ensure all foods meet resident satisfaction and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Maintain food temperatures and time controls in compliance with food safety standards
• Circulate in the dining room to assess resident preferences and meal satisfaction
• Maintain a clean kitchen and dining area
• Foster teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, assisting others beyond job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed
