Cook Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader in the kitchen
• Work closely alongside the dietary director, dietary assistant, dietary aides, and cooks
• Guide all food functions
• Implement current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, and assisted facilities
• Prepare meals in a timely manner
• Have time management skills
• Pull and properly store meat correctly
• Complete temp logs and cleaning schedules

Cook Requirements

• Must hold a valid Food Handlers Permit
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience as a Cook or similar role
• Working in a Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus!
