Responsibilities

• Prepare food following established rules and regulations
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, ensuring they meet dietary requirements
• Treat everyone with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity
• Model a positive and professional image that represents our mission and values

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ dietary experience, preferably in an acute or long-term care environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course
• Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and/or on other shifts and in other positions when necessary

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Previous cook experience providing services to multiple patients/residents
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing environment
