Responsibilities

Position Overview: Prepares, seasons and cooks foods for facility’s patients, staff and visitors. Determines waste to ensure no over production of food and complies with safe food practices based on departmental policies and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Six (6) months previous food service experience
• Preferred: ServSafe Certification
• Six (6) months professional training at a culinary school
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and batch

Pay

Compensation Salary Range: $24.50 - $24.75 / hour. The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.
