Responsibilities

• Prepare Lunch and Dinner for St. Augustine Hunger Center Clients
• Plan Weekly/Monthly Menu's
• Aid the Manager in Ordering Food Needed for Meals
• Supervise Kitchen and Food Storage Areas
• Maintain a Clean/Organized/Sanitized Environment
• Maintain ServSafe Certificate

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One to three years related professional experience
• At least 21 years of age at the time of hire if driving is warranted
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to form good working and therapeutic relationships
• Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software
• Must be able to drive and pass a Moving Vehicle Report (MVR) check annually

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience normally represented by a High School Diploma or equivalent and one to three years related professional experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire if driving is warranted
• Experience in food handling and preparation, kitchen management, and menu planning
• Knowledge of recognized methods and skills in provision of good nutrition desired
• Must have good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to monitor allocated food budget
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and be subject to a Moving Vehicle Report (MVR) check through the Department of Motor Vehicles annually if driving is warranted
