About the role

Glendale Place Nursing & Rehab, a Caring Place Healthcare Group facility, is seeking a Cook to prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as directed by the Dietitian and/or Food Service Manager, to ensure quality food service is provided at all times. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following applicable food safety and nutrition standards.
• Follow directions from the Dietitian and/or Food Service Manager.
• Maintain consistent quality of food service.

Requirements

• Experience working as a cook or assistant cook in a large‑volume kitchen.
• Minimum of 10th grade education.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull in excess of 50 lbs.
• Desire to make a positive daily impact on residents and team members.

$18‑$22 per hour
