About the role
As a Cook at BEAT THE BOMB, you will help create a one-of-a-kind experience for customers and team members through food service. You will be responsible for executing all recipes while adhering to food safety guidelines. While your primary focus will be kitchen operations, you’ll also support the broader Beat The Bomb experience.
Responsibilities
- Prep food according to recipes
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Complete time/temperature checklists
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen at the start and end of each shift
- Prepare food items to specifications and according to tickets
- Wash, sanitize, and store all plateware, glasses, and kitchen equipment
- Empty kitchen and bar trash as needed
- Assist with front-of-house duties during downtime
Qualifications

- Comfortable working in a messy environment but maintains cleanliness and sanitation
- Serve Safe certified or willing to obtain certification
- Enjoys engaging with teammates and customers

- Strong culinary skills; ability to execute recipes properly for guests
- Remains calm under pressure
- Friendly, outgoing, and inclusive
- Available to work weekends
- Comfortable with physical activity; constantly on your feet and in motion
