About the role

Avista Senior Living is expanding throughout Idaho and is currently looking for a cook to join our team at our community in Nampa, ID. This is a part-time position working weekends from 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals with a focus on scratch cooking to elevate food service expectations
• Demonstrate compassion for the elderly and contribute to improving their quality of life through food service
• Lead others in a positive manner
• Maintain a strong attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation

Requirements

• Prior cook experience is highly preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• ServSafe certificate
