About the role

We are seeking a Cook to assist our team at a school in West Deltona. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals with our crew for our students and staff. If you have a passion for feeding our youth during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Follow all food safety regulations
• Running a Point of Sale when needed
• Must be able to pass a background check (and drug test)

Qualifications

• ServeSafe or Food Managers Certification (We can help)
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting to 40 pounds

Pay

We truly have a model to meet every school, county’s needs. Our food is made fresh daily in our local kitchens and served onsite, delivered to the classrooms, or delivered to the school in heat-controlled food service boxes.
