About the Role

Join our team as a Cook 2 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, working in a fast-paced food environment across our restaurant portfolio including Ballard Brew Hall, Mi Casa Cantina, Greedy Cow, Pei Wei, Bad Egg, and more.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, check portions, garnishes, and present dishes ordered
• Have correct and adequate setup in the kitchen/work station at each shift, including making orders, storing all fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments, and supplies
• Handle, store, and rotate stored products properly
• Set up, regularly maintain, clean, and ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines
• Manage supply of stocks, cutting, and storage of perishable goods daily to maintain product quality
• Put all utensils used during the shift in their place, clean and tidy work place and storage areas (including refrigerators, freezers), empty, clean, and store bins
• Practice general and specific cleaning using appropriate products as indicated by the manager to meet hygiene standards
• Take instructions from the manager when taking office and take stock with the manager before leaving to ensure everything is in order

Requirements

• One year experience working in food service environment (essential)
• High school diploma (preferred)
• Verbal and written communication skills (essential)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Food handlers permit, as required by law
• Brand Certification, as required
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
