Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and quickly and accurately take their order and payment.
• Take phone orders or cater orders to help guests plan their special events.
• Give out completed orders to guests by calling out numbers with a rhyme.
• Cook food to our high-quality standards and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Follow provided recipes and uphold the Portillo’s standard.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are in place.
• Create eye-catching, fresh, made-to-order salads and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

• Must have worked at Portillo’s for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6-month period.
• Military Veterans are encouraged to apply.

• The pay rate for this role is $15 per hour.
• This position is also served with: An additional $2/hour for all hours worked after 11pm, $2/hour when working outside in temperatures below 33 degrees Fahrenheit, and $3/hour to work on holidays.

Pay

The pay rate for this role is $15 per hour. Additional rates apply for hours worked after 11pm, outside in cold weather, and on holidays.
