About the role

Nestled on the shores of Lady Bird Lake, in the heart of downtown Austin is Hyatt Regency Austin – where caring for people to be their best is our purpose and the foundation of all that we do! We are in search of a dedicated and reliable Cook 1 to join our fantastic Culinary Team! This position will be primarily supporting our restaurant and bar, Ripple & Roots. Responsibilities

• This is a production position that requires supervision and training.

Qualifications

• Requires fair communication skills.
• No previous experience necessary.
• Valid Food Handler certification.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Schedule

• Open availability including Mornings, Afternoon, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays is required for this position.
