About the role

The Cook I position at KPMG Lakehouse is a production role designed for motivated individuals looking to build their culinary career. It is located in the state-of-the-art KPMG Lakehouse, which includes 800 single king bed sleeping rooms, over 100,000 square feet of meeting space, and four unique food and beverage venues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and guidelines
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
• Support the service team by preparing food items for guests
• Follow established procedures and policies to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• A general knowledge of basic culinary skills
• A desire to deliver exceptional service and product to enhance the facility's participant dining experience
• The ability to professionally communicate with facility participants and colleagues
• The capability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the work shift
