Conversion Staff Member

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conversion from basketball to large-scale concert/event.
• Set up seating arrangements and supporting furniture for concerts, basketball games, meetings, dinners, parties, and banquets.
• Set up signage, banners, and other conversion responsibilities from one event or game to another.
• Installation, repair, and removal of arena equipment and seating.
• Respond to requests from management, vendors, guests, event, and team representatives to move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
• Set up and break down barricades, tables, chairs, risers, and stages. Both at the arena and at offsite locations.
• Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management.
• Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of company property.
• May be required to operate industrial vehicles such as carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers.
• Follow all operating policies and procedures.
• Maintain company confidentiality.
• Always maintain a professional appearance.

Desired Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Two years of experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to operate forklift and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure and other measuring devices, identify between imperial (standard) and metric fasteners, and handle basic and common hand tools.
