Conversion Crew | Part-Time | Alerus Center

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the physical setup of all areas around the Arena including chairs, tables, staging, furnishings and equipment for sporting and live events
• Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing, cleaning, and maintaining changeover equipment
• Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at the time of application
• Exhibit willingness to work a flexible schedule consisting of nights and weekends
• Work effectively in a heavily team-based environment
• Be reliable, honest, dependable, and punctual
• Possess knowledge of basic hand tools and their uses
• Good physical condition and health, sufficient strength and stamina needed for heavy, awkward, and repeated lifting of up to 50 pounds, capable of occasionally performing heavy manual labor

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager the part-time Conversion Crew is responsible the event setups and changeover of the Center on an event-to-event basis to ensure complete adherence to the event schedule as-well-as tenant contractual specifications and requirements.
