Conversion Crew Attendant

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Move tables, chairs, risers, bleachers, booths, staging, ramps, and other furniture between event spaces and storage areas as directed.
• Aid in setting up event equipment according to established procedures.
• Report any property damage, malfunctioning equipment, or safety hazards to the Conversion Manager or supervisor.
• Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner during event preparations or shift assignments.
• Notify supervisor of any issues with equipment, supplies, or staffing needs.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with guests, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhere to the facility's dress code and grooming standards.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with all ASM Global and Event Services Department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous experience in event set-up or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, including staff at all levels. Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate tools, equipment, and machinery. Must be able to lift and move items up to 100 pounds. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
