Convenience Store Cashier

Responsibilities

• Transact customer purchases with accuracy
• Adequately adhere to state and/or federal tobacco and alcohol sales laws
• Maintain the cleanliness of store premises
• Handle inventory and replenish store stock
• Sweep, mop, pick up trash, clean restrooms, remove snow, and perform light maintenance

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service
• Prior experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments, and extreme temperature conditions
• Unwavering honesty and integrity
• Courteous and professional demeanor
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Willingness to adapt easily to change as our products/services/promotions update frequently
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $18.25 per hour plus commission.
