Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on control systems and operational technology to ensure optimal performance
- Aid in diagnosing and resolving issues with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, sensors, and related equipment
- Conduct system tests and inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Partner with electricians and maintenance technicians to troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues
- Assist with installation and configuration of operational technology hardware and software
- Develop, evaluate, and update electrical preventive maintenance (PM) procedures
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and system repairs
- Absorb and update system documentation and manuals as required
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Additional technical education or training preferred
- Specialized training in PLCs or equivalent hands-on work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Understanding of industrial control systems and operational technology
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition systems preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and interpret data accurately
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift moderate weights and work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation & Benefit Information
- Salary Pay Range: $34.00-$40.00 per hour dependent on experience
- The pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
- Bonus/Incentive Pay: A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided

About the Role
The Controls Technician supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and optimization of industrial control systems across the Buffalo facility. This role works closely with Controls Engineers, Electricians, and Maintenance teams to ensure PLC, SCADA, HMI, and related systems operate safely and reliably in support of production.
