Responsibilities
- Planner, executor, and project leader for HVAC Controls Lead Systems Specialist roles, ensuring projects are completed safely and cost-effectively.
- Designs hardware and programs software as required, providing detailed information to customers, Johnson Controls staff, and subcontractors.
- Pursues additional work through change orders, evaluates contractual scope, and manages client communications.
- Selects, orders, budgets, and schedules materials for assigned projects, securing pricing and availability from vendors.
- Manages subcontractor payments and billing processes, oversees installation, verifies system functionality, and completes commissioning documentation.
- Ensures project profitability, maintains positive cash flow, and provides accurate project billing.
- Trains owners/operators on the total system, ensures proper warranty execution, and develops long-term contractor, client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.
- Attends job progress meetings, coordinates with Project Engineers, and follows safety standards.
Requirements
- Technical Associate Degree with two years of field experience or equivalent related field experience.
- Applicable Building Automation Systems design and commissioning experience.
- Appropriate licensing, certifications, and relevant hands-on experience.
- The ability to perform work independently.
- Strong personal computer skills.
- Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.
Qualifications
- Must have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
- Experience with project management and budgeting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
Hiring Salary Range: $76,000 - $105,000. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
